Communities Promoting Health

Communities Promoting Health is one of thirty-one Healthy Maine Partnerships funded with tobacco settlement money from the Fund for a Healthy Maine through the Partnership for a Tobacco-Free Maine, Bureau of Health, Department of Human Services. We harness the resources of communities, worksites, and schools to implement programs and activities that encourage healthy habits and well-being. Our four major focus areas include:

  •  Adopting a tobacco-free lifestyle

  •  Eating healthy foods daily
  •  Reducing binge drinking in our teen population
