Help Us Open and Furnish
Parkside Neighborhood Center This Spring
Construction on the new Parkside Neighborhood Center and Affordable Housing at the corner of Mellen and Grant Streets in downtown Portland is nearing completion and there is a $25,000 community fundraising campaign underway to help furnish the center when it is complete. This local campaign is running in tandem with the more ambitious "Close the Gap" campaign, which seeks to raise $139,000 for the Center to be debt-free.
Cash donations will be most helpful to purchase attractive new furnishings for the center, but we have a list of other items that are needed, too. Click here for the list of Parkside needs. If you have any questions about contributions to the local campaign, please contact Debra Tenenbaum at 874-1140 ext. 299.
