What The Women's Project CAN DO For You:

  • Listen
  • Talk with you to answer your questions
  • Make suggestions about how to solve your problems
  • Offer support and encouragement
  • Pay for transportation and child care temporarily so that you can get to meetings, treatment, or counseling
  • Help you make a plan to get your needs met
  • Help you build your support system
  • Speak to others on your behalf, with your permission
  • Give information about women's health issues, including addiction, TB, HIV, hepatitis, pre-natal care, and fetal alcohol syndrome and effects.

  1. Have you ever failed to fulfill obligations or given up on important activities due to your using?
  2. Has your using put others in danger?
  3. Have you had legal problems due to your using?
  4. Have you continued to use despite problems caused by your using?
  5. Have you had a change in your tolerance (using more to get the same effect)?
  6. Have you had withdrawal symptoms?
  7. Have you ever used more than you planned to use? Or have you ever tried to quit?
  8. Has your using taken up a great deal of your time?

  10. Have you ever thought that using "fixes" things?
